Optimal inspection and economical production quantity strategy for an imperfect production process
International Journal of Systems Science, 2006This paper considers a problem relating to the integration of production, maintenance, inspection and inventory. The optimal inspection interval, inspection frequency and production quantity were studied, assuming an imperfect production process and a maintenance policy that permits minimal repair, shortages and inspection errors.
