Evaluating Bicarbonate Electrolyzer Configurations for Energy‐Efficient Formate Production

Reactive carbon capture (RCC) with bicarbonate electrolyzers (BEs) offers an efficient alternative to gas‐fed CO2 electrolyzers by eliminating regeneration and pressurization steps. This study optimizes BE configurations and compares RCC chains to gas‐fed carbon chains for formate production.

Sustainable 3D‐Printed Platforms with Durable Photocatalytic Coatings for Efficient Water Treatment

This work presents a sustainable 3D‐printed scaffold with a bioinspired, wear‐resistant surface for photocatalyst coatings. The nano‐enabled scaffolds demonstrate exceptional stability, maintaining performance after 30 cycles of chemical regeneration and UV irradiation, while achieving a removal efficiency of 93%.
