A Self‐Enhanced Tandem Catalytic System for Olefin‐to‐Diol Conversion Powered by Single‐Atom Fe Catalysts With In Situ Generated Acid

A single‐atom iron catalyst with well‐defined Fe–N4 sites enables a tandem epoxidation‐hydrolysis process for converting terminal olefins to 1,2‐diols. The in situ‐generated isobutyric acid drives the hydrolysis step, affording broad substrate scope and excellent recyclability.

Amino‐functionalized Co‐BDC nanosheet arrays on nickel foam oxidize PET‐derived ethylene glycol with high efficiency. Electron‐donating NH2 groups optimize Co electron density, promoting selective C–C cleavage to formate (95.6% Faradaic efficiency) for conversion to potassium diformate.

Oxygen Vacancy‐Engineered S‐Scheme FeOOH/Ov‐BiVO4 Heterojunction: Interfacial Charge Dynamics Optimization and Pathogenic Polypeptide Aggregates Degradation

EcoEnergy, EarlyView.
By integrating interfacial oxygen vacancies and cone‐shaped FeOOH, a highly efficient S‐scheme FeOOH/Ov‐BiVO4 photoanode was constructed. This dual‐strategy significantly accelerates charge transfer and enhances reactant adsorption, achieving outstanding photoelectrochemical degradation of pathogenic amyloid β‐polypeptide aggregates.
