"Assessing agglomeration economies in a spatial framework with endogenous regressors" [PDF]
This paper is concerned with the influence of agglomeration economies on economic outcomes across British regions. The concentration of economic activity in one place can foster economic performance due to the reduction in transportation costs, the ready

A bimetallic Cu‐Pd single‐site catalyst for the selective and efficient electrooxidation of glycerol to formate and C3‐products (lactate, glycolate, glycerate) is reported. Experimental and theoretical studies shed light on the catalyst function and reveal that Pd sites facilitate the adsorption of hydroxyl (C‐OH) species which prevents C‐C bond ...

Second-Best Cost-Benefit Analysis in Monopolistic Competition Models of Urban Agglomeration [PDF]
経済学 / EconomicsMany sources of urban agglomeration involve departures from the first-best world. By modeling the microstructure of agglomeration economies, we derive second-best benefit evaluation formulae for urban transportation improvements. Previous

The densification process of Li6PS5Cl powders with varying particles size distributions reveals differences in smaller and larger distributions. Higher strain is revealed for the smaller particle size distribution from X‐ray diffraction. Discrete element method simulations uncover that the reason for the higher strain is not the particle size itself ...

Knowledge Externalities, Agglomeration Economies, and Employment Growth in Dutch Cities [PDF]
This paper extends the work of Glaeser et al.(1992) by looking at effects of agglomeration economies on employment growth in Dutch city-industries and in very small (postal) zip code-industries in the Dutch province of South-Holland.

This study investigates the feasibility of scaling up Prussian White (PW)‐based cathode manufacturing at a pilot scale. Through careful PW dehydration combined with optimized aqueous processing, we report the stepwise development of industrially relevant 1 Ah pouch cells and evaluate their performance under various conditions.
