Stacking Interventions Enhances Carbon Removals and Profitability of Livestock Production Systems

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
The study indicates that stacking multiple interventions aimed at maximising soil organic carbon (SOC) sequestration and enteric methane (CH4) reductions realizes greater abatement and profit do any singular intervention, especially when SOC sequestration accounts for a significant proportion of greenhouse gas emissions (GHG) mitigation. Abstract While

Electrical Manipulation of Magnetic Domain Structure in van der Waals Ferromagnetic Fe3GaTe2 Using Ferroelectric PMN‐PT Single Crystal

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
2D van der Waals ferromagnets enable tunable magnetism for spintronics. This study demonstrates electric‐field‐induced control of Fe3GaTe2 magnetism on a PMN‐PT substrate, reducing coercive force and altering domain structures. The effects stem from interlayer gap modulation and enhanced DzyaloshinskiiMoriya interaction, establishing a path toward low ...

Cellular Adaptation to Mechanical Stress Emerges via Cell Shrinkage Triggered by Nonlinear Calcium Elevation

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Here, a decision‐making mechanism underlying mechanical adaptation is demonstrated. This study demonstrates that cellular adaptation to mechanical stress can be induced by applying low‐amplitude stretch to cells. When the stretch reaches a critical amplitude threshold, it triggers Ca2⁺‐dependent positive feedback, which induces cholesterol efflux and ...
