Prospective LCA of E‐Methanol Along the Transformation of Steel Industry
The environmental effects of change in steel production route on e‐methanol production are analyzed as they shift from blast furnace route to direct reduction route. Specific hydrogen demand reduces, as do the avoided CO2 emissions. E‐methanol's overall carbon footprint stays in a narrow range of −1 to −1.1 kg‐CO2‐eq./kg‐methanol.

Freshwater ecotoxicity characterization factors for PFASs [Elektronisk resurs]
This research aims to address the data gaps in freshwater ecotoxicological characterization factors (CFs) for per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFASs). These CFs are essential for incorporating the ecotoxicity impacts of PFAS emissions into life cycle

Tunable amylopectin graft copolymers for flocculating and dewatering iron ore tailings
Abstract Polyacrylamide (PAM), the standard flocculant for mining tailings, often produces turbid supernatants and poorly dewatered sediments, limiting water reuse and tailings densification. We synthesized amylopectin‐graft‐poly[(2‐methacryloyloxy)ethyl]trimethylammonium chloride (AP‐g‐PMETAC) copolymers with systematically varied graft frequency (N =

Bioavailability as a key property in terrestrial ecotoxicity assessment and evaluation
It was the primary scope of the worhshop to give a critical overview of various scientific aspects to determine "bioavailability" for terrestrial ecotoxicity assessment and evaluation. However, the acceptability and reliability of methods for policy use -
