2023Extracorporeal cardiopulmonary resuscitation (ECPR) for refractory cardiac arrest has demonstrated promising survival rates with a favorable neurological outcome at hospital discharge. Strict patient selection with additional criteria and protocol for ECPR may produce even higher survival rates.
