Ankara Üniversitesi Veteriner Fakültesi Dergisi, 1996 Van yoresinde bir besi kuzusu yetistirmesinde Ecthyma contagiosum (Orf) tespit edildi. Enfeksiyonun tanisi klinik, serolojik ve elektron mikroskopik incelemeler yapilarak konuldu. Ayrica, serum demir ve bakir konsantrasyonunun enfeksiyondaki durumu belirlendi.
