Ectopic Acromegaly

Endocrinology and Metabolism Clinics of North America, 1992
Ectopic acromegaly is a rare syndrome (less than 1% of acromegalic patients) caused by ectopic growth hormone-releasing hormone (GHRH) or growth hormone (GH)-producing tumors. Ectopic Pregnancy

Clinical Obstetrics and Gynecology, 1991
The diagnosis and management of ectopic pregnancy is changing rapidly. In cases of tubal abortion it is possible to detecte an increase in the vascular resistance. Transvaginal color Doppler is useful tool for diagnosis and follow up of the patients with ectopic pregnancy.

Ectopic Nesidioblastosis

Pediatrics International, 1990
AbstractWe observed one case of ectopic nesidioblastosis. A solitary nesidioblastoma was observed in the interior wall of the duodenum. Ectopic nesidioblastosi has not been previously reported, but our experience suggests the necessity of examination for ectopic pancreas in cases of SIDS or its near‐miss.

Ectopic pregnancy

Current Opinion in Obstetrics and Gynecology, 1992
During the last two decades, the incidence of ectopic pregnancy was shown to be rising. At the same time, ectopic pregnancy became less lethal due to improvements in diagnostic procedures, which are now able to confirm the ectopic implantation before the occurrence of life-threatening hemorrhagic complications.
