This article evaluates lipid nanoparticles to deliver immunomodulatory mRNA to placental cells and mouse placentas to study and treat the immune underpinnings of placenta‐related diseases. Lipid nanoparticles induce cytokine secretion and macrophage polarization toward an anti‐inflammatory state.
