Demography Meets Climate Change: Life History Challenges for a Neotropical Viviparous Lizard
Considering the current biodiversity crisis, it is crucial to understand the impact of global environmental changes on natural populations. Analyzing demographic parameters from long‐term studies is the most effective approach to uncovering patterns that

Warped Functional Analysis of Variance [PDF]
This article presents an Analysis of Variance model for functional data that explicitly incorporates phase variability through a time-warping component, allowing for a unified approach to estimation and inference in presence of amplitude and time ...

Integrating comparative spectrometry, image analysis, and thermal modeling, we reveal that (1) females optimize crypsis via background matching, (2) males prioritize high‐contrast disruptive patterning at a significant thermoregulatory cost (reduced solar heat gain), and (3) habitat‐specific monomorphism in Diploderma slowinskii underscores ecological ...

Nymphal development took longer at 25°C than 30°C, and the Greek N. tenuis population developed more slowly than the commercial population. Nymphs clearly preferred E. kuehniella eggs over Artemia sp. cysts when both were offered equally. Egg production increased at 30°C, while female longevity declined.

Physiological implications of the bone histology of Syntarsus rhodesiensis (Saurischia: Theropoda) [PDF]
Femora of Syntarsus rhodesiensis specimens of differing ontogenetic stages were sectioned and prepared for histological study. Features such as the structure of the cortical bone tissue, the degree of vascularisation and haversian substitution, and the ...

Perspectives on the Effect of Incubation Temperature on Pine Snake Hatchlings
Effect of timing of egg‐laying and incubation temperature on the possible phenology of events for early egg‐laying females (laying June 15, the earliest laying date), the mid‐laying date (July 4), and late egg‐laying females (July 17, the latest egg‐laying date). Based on data from many papers.
