Targeting the extra domain A of fibronectin for cancer therapy with CAR-T cells

open access: yesJournal for ImmunoTherapy of Cancer, 2022
Background One of the main difficulties of adoptive cell therapies with chimeric antigen receptor (CAR)-T cells in solid tumors is the identification of specific target antigens.

Breathable Graphene Oxide‐Polymer Composite Membranes With Two‐Step Barrier Mechanism Against Nerve Agents

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Breathable membranes that reject chemical warfare agents (CWAs) are required for next‐generation protective apparel. A dual‐function graphene oxide (GO)‐polyamine architecture is introduced that addresses the long‐standing tradeoff between vapor transmission and CWA selectivity.

Design of SoC/SIP simulation acceleration based on distributed computing

open access: yesDianzi Jishu Yingyong
With the continuous growth of IC design scale and complexity, traditional EDA verification is more and more restricted especially for sub-system and SoC full chip level simulation efficiency. To efficiently and effectively find and debug RTL problems and

Gallic acid and metformin co-administration reduce oxidative stress, apoptosis and inflammation via Fas/caspase-3 and NF-κB signaling pathways in thioacetamide-induced acute hepatic encephalopathy in rats

open access: yesBMC Complementary Medicine and Therapies, 2023
Background Hepatic encephalopathy (HE) is a consequence of chronic or acute liver diseases. This study evaluates the combined effect of gallic acid (GA), and metformin (Met) on the liver and brain damage associated with HE.

In‐Situ Solution Complexation for n‐Type Surface‐Energetics Reconstruction in 2.0 eV Ultra‐Wide‐Bandgap Perovskite Solar Cells

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A reactive in situ solution complexation strategy reconstructs the surface of 2.0 eV ultra‐wide‐bandgap perovskites via proton transfer. This chemical modulation eliminates metallic defects and induces a degenerate‐like n‐type surface, establishing an Ohmic tunneling contact.

Design Strategies and Emerging Applications of High‐Performance Flexible Piezoresistive Pressure Sensors

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Flexible piezoresistive pressure sensors underpin wearable and soft electronics. This review links sensing physics, including contact resistance modulation, quantum tunneling and percolation, to unified materials/structure design. We highlight composite and graded architectures, interfacial/porous engineering, and microstructured 3D conductive networks

Rule Induction by EDA with Instance-Subpopulations [PDF]

open access: yes, 2009
In this paper, a new rule induction method by using EDA with instance-subpopulations is proposed. The proposed method introduces a notion of instance-subpopulation, where a set of individuals matching a training instance.
