Rational Design of Covalent Organic Framework Catalysts for Photocatalytic Carbon Dioxide Fixation

open access: yesSmartMat, Volume 7, Issue 1, February 2026.
This study investigates the optimization of pyrene‐based Salen(Zn) covalent organic frameworks (COFs) identified through a comprehensive computational screening of a virtual library. These COFs exhibit exceptional performance in photo‐driven CO2 cycloaddition, with our findings revealing that substituents on the diamine backbone play a crucial role in ...

Counteranion Engineering of Ethylenediammonium Salts for Reproducible Surface Modification in p–i–n Perovskite Solar Cells

open access: yesSolar RRL, Volume 10, Issue 3, 13 February 2026.
Engineering the counteranions of ethylenediammonium, a useful passivation molecule for perovskites, improves its solubility and clarifies how power conversion efficiency depends on concentration as well as on the choice of counteranion. This approach leads to improved reproducibility in perovskite solar cells.

The Impact of Non‐Radical Hysterectomy on Urinary Functions: Evaluation of Symptoms—A Systematic Review and Meta‐Analysis

open access: yesBJOG: An International Journal of Obstetrics &Gynaecology, Volume 133, Issue 3, Page 391-400, February 2026.
ABSTRACT Background Simple hysterectomy is one of the most common gynaecological surgical procedures worldwide; however, its association as a possible aetiological factor for urinary dysfunction remains controversial. Objective To evaluate the clinical impact of different types of non‐radical hysterectomy on lower urinary tract symptoms (LUTS).

Assessing Cardiac Mechanical Dysfunction in Transfusion‐Dependent β‐Thalassemia With History of Atrial Fibrillation: The Role of Speckle Tracking Echocardiography

open access: yesEchocardiography, Volume 43, Issue 2, February 2026.
Transfusion dependent β‐thalassemia patients with history of atrial fibrillation (AF) had lower values of global longitudinal strain and peak atrial longitudinal strain (PALS) and showed higher prevalence of both left ventricular and atrial mechanical dysfunction. PALS was associated with high diagnostic accuracy for the detection of AF.
