The design of a very high-Q superconductor electromechanical clock

open access: yes, 2018
We discuss theoretically the properties of an electromechanical oscillator whose operation is based upon the cyclic, quasi-conservative conversion between gravitational potential, kinetic, and magnetic energies.

Exceptional Antimodes in Multi‐Drive Cavity Magnonics

open access: yesAdvanced Electronic Materials, EarlyView.
Driven‐dissipative cavity‐magnonics provides a flexible platform for engineering non‐Hermitian physics such as exceptional points. Here, using a four‐port, three‐mode system with controllable microwave interference, antimodes and coherent perfect extinction (CPE) are realized, enabling active tuning to antimode exceptional points.

Partially Segmented Permanent-Magnet Losses in Interior Permanent-Magnet Motors

open access: yesEnergies
Permanent-magnet losses in interior permanent-magnet (IPM) motors can result in high magnet temperatures and potential demagnetization. This study investigates using partially segmented magnets as an alternative to traditional segmented magnets to reduce
