Analysis and compensation of eddy currents in balanced SSFP [PDF]

open access: yes, 2005
Balanced steady-state free precession (SSFP) completely compensates for all gradients within each repetition time (TR), and is thus very sensitive to any magnetic field imperfection that disturbs the perfectly balanced acquisition scheme.

Role of Liquid Composition in the Transient Liquid Assisted Growth of Superconducting YBa2Cu3O7‐δ Films

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
The Y supersaturation in the [Ba‐Cu(I/II)‐O] transient liquid composition is the driving force toward YBCO nucleation and growth in TLAG. Tuning the initial (Ba:Cu) molar ratio in the ink composition determines the YBCO epitaxial nucleation through supersaturation control.

Characterisation of surface and sub-surface discontinuities in metals using pulsed eddy current sensors [PDF]

open access: yes
Due primarily to today's rigorous safety standards the focus of non-destructive testing (NDT) has shifted from flaw detection to quantitative NIDT, where characterisation of flaws is the objective.

Comparative analysis of A-V and A-T-T0 calculations of induced currents in multiply connected regions [PDF]

open access: yes, 2011
The paper offers a comparative analysis of two methods, both using potentials, for electromagnetic field computation in multiply connected regions, including a conventional A-V approach and a fairly new and much less popular A-T-T0 formulation.

Eutectozymes as Soft Hybrid Materials for Advanced Biocatalysis

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Eutectozymes are sustainable hybrid materials that embed a GOx–HRP cascade within hydrophobic eutectogels featuring a dual supramolecular–covalent network. This architecture preserves native enzyme structure and stability, enables efficient heterogeneous biocatalysis in aqueous media, and positions eutectogels as robust platforms for next‐generation ...

Rotating gravity current and channel flows [PDF]

open access: yes, 1999
A theoretical and laboratory Investigation of rotating gravity currents and channel flows is presented. The study is applicable to buoyancy driven flows through straits, mid ocean ridge valleys and fracture zones, and intermittent gravity currents.

Eddy Currents in the NSLS Vacuum Chamber [PDF]

open access: yes, 1979
As the applied magnetic fields are increased during acceleration, eddy currents are induced in the vacuum chamber. These result in magnetic field perturbations which we shall estimate for the Booster and X-Ray Rings. Our calculation follows that of Asner,
