Edge ideals of some edge-weighted graphs

open access: yes
This paper presents exact formulas for the regularity and depth of powers of edge ideals of an edge-weighted star graph. Additionally, we provide exact formulas for the regularity of powers of the edge ideal of an edge-weighted integrally closed path, as

Electrochemical Behavior of Flame‐Sprayed Sc‐Doped AlCoCrFeMo High‐Entropy Alloy Coatings in 3.5% Sodium Chloride Solution

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
Scandium (Sc)‐doped AlCoCrFeMo HEA coatings are fabricated via flame spraying with 0.1, 0.3, and 0.5 wt% Sc additions. Among these, the HEA‐Sc0.3 coating exhibits the highest corrosion resistance, indicated by a more positive corrosion potential and lower current density.

Powers of the Edge Ideals and Matchings in Hypergraphs

open access: yesActa Mathematica Vietnamica
In this work, some combinatorial lower bound for regularity of powers of the edge ideal of a uniform hypergarph is gained. A family of hypergraphs whose regularity of edge ideal attains this bound and has a significant difference from the lower bounds heretofore obtained have also been introduced.

Comparison of Triply Periodic Minimal Surface Energy Absorbers Under Uniaxial Compressive Loading

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
This study investigates LCD 3D printed Triply Periodic Minimal Surface (TPMS) structures as mechanical energy absorbers. By comparing various base designs and layered combinations under uniaxial compression, it identifies that a Diamond‐Gyroid sandwich structure offers superior performance.

A Practical Noise2Noise Denoising Pipeline for High‐Throughput Raman Spectroscopy

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
A lightweight and reproducible denoising pipeline for high‐throughput Raman spectroscopy is introduced, based on a 1D convolutional autoencoder trained with a Noise2Noise strategy. Using only repeated short‐exposure acquisitions, the method suppresses stochastic noise without reference spectra, enabling reliable spectral reconstruction while preserving

New AI‐Assisted Approach for Expanding the Solution Space: Application to Lattice Structure Design

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
This work introduces an innovative framework for designing structured materials by ex panding the design space through reparameterization of qualitative variables into continuous structural descriptors. Combined with machine‐learning‐based prediction and multi‐objective optimization, the approach enables the discovery of novel lattice architectures ...

High‐Resolution Corrosion Fingerprinting of Alloy Libraries via Microdroplet Spectroelectrochemistry

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
Ionic‐liquid microdroplet spectroelectrochemistry enables stable, localized electrochemical measurements over extended timescales. By coupling impedance spectroscopy, wetting analysis, finite‐element simulations, and operando Raman spectroscopy, it disentangles geometrical and electrochemical effects, opening new opportunities for rapid corrosion ...

Edge ideals and their asymptotic syzygies

open access: yes
Let G be a finite simple graph, and let I(G) denote its edge ideal. In this paper, we investigate the asymptotic behavior of the syzygies of powers of edge ideals through the lens of homological shift ideals HSi(I(G)k). We introduce the notion of the ith
