Upscaling nature restoration in Italy: Barriers and facilitators

Abstract The new Nature Restoration Regulation (EU) 2024/1991 (NRR) sets ambitious objectives to begin revitalising the EU's degraded ecosystems by 2030. However, the structure of the NRR leaves Member States with a broad margin of discretion to pursue these targets within the context of their governance arrangements.

Knowledge from non‐English‐language studies broadens contributions to conservation policy and helps to tackle bias in biodiversity data

open access: yesJournal of Applied Ecology, Volume 62, Issue 9, Page 2148-2162, September 2025.
Collecting data from local sources markedly further strengthens global biodiversity databases by adding species not previously included in international datasets. Furthermore, the addition of these data helps to understand spatial and temporal biases that potentially influence abundance trends at both national and global levels.

Der Artikel addressiert Strategien zur „bojenartigen“ Verankerung von Metallkomplexen an der Flüssig/Vakuum (Gas)‐Grenzfläche von ionischen Flüssigkeiten. Diese Oberflächenanreicherung wird durch die gezielte Funktionalisierung der katalytischen Komplexe mit oberflächenaktiven Liganden sowie mit einer geeigneten Wahl der ionischen Flüssigkeit erreicht.

Understanding author choices in the current conservation publishing landscape
