Maxillary sinus papillary edema (MSPE) is a distinct finding that is reliably identifiable, and is significantly more likely in odontogenic sinusitis (ODS) compared to infectious chronic rhinosinusitis without nasal polyps and noninfectious chronic rhinosinusitis with nasal polyps.

Phenotypic Subtypes of Obstructive Eustachian Tube Dysfunction as Defined by Cluster Analysis

Obstructive ETD encompasses five clinically distinct phenotypes, ranging from mild, post‐upper respiratory infection presentations to chronic, bilateral disease driven by sinusitis and reflux. These were identified through hierarchical cluster analysis of 490 patients using seven key clinical variables.

The study investigates the influence of DED‐Arc/M versus casting on the microstructure and material properties of X40CrMoV5‐1 (AISI H13) hot‐work tool steel. DED‐Arc/M yields finer microstructures, superior mechanical strength, and ductility, but slightly reduced thermal conductivity.
