Ecological Entomology, EarlyView.Short‐ and long‐term expression of PPO‐D, PI‐IIc and PR‐1a were assessed in intact plants and detached tomato leaves of two varieties infested with Tetranhycus urticae. Tomato defences were induced in both intact and detached leaves, but the induction levels varied with plant variety and gene assessed.

Fisheries Management and Ecology, EarlyView.ABSTRACT This article presents an analysis of regulatory compliance in a Brazilian gillnet fishery, based on Vessel Monitoring System (VMS) tracking data. Satellite transmissions records, interpreted as proxies for gillnet haulings events, were analyzed and classified using a neural network to assess the level of compliance of the gillnet fleet.
