Microzooplankton grazing impact on the phytoplankton community at a coastal upwelling
Experiments were carried out at a coastal upwelling site (ENSENADA station) off northern Baja California (México) during autumn 2015 (OCT-15) and spring 2016 (APR-16) to estimate phytoplankton daily growth (µo) and mortality (m) rates and to assess ...

We characterized the spatial and temporal variations of sea surface temperature (SST), satellite-derived chlorophyll a (Chlsat) con-centration, and phytoplankton production (PP) along two 300-km long transects in the southernmost part of the California ...

In Situ Amine Formation to Modulate MOF‐Derived PdIn N‐Doped Carbon Catalysts
An amine‐assisted approach converts PdIn‐MOF into PdIn intermetallic nanoparticles embedded in N‐doped carbon. In situ‐generated amines trigger early Pd nucleation, producing smaller PdIn domains than direct pyrolysis. Amine sterics and basicity tune composition and particle size, while solvent and amine co‐determine textural features.

Numerical simulation of the hydrodynamics of a port and effect of a wave-driven seawater pump
A three-dimensional numerical model was adapted to study the circulation, stratification and mixing patterns inside the port of El Sauzal. Salinity, temperature and density field data were measured, showing that density variations were mainly due to the

Climate change demands accelerated plant adaptation and de novo domestication. Yet current enviromics focuses disproportionately on external environments, neglecting internal dynamics—gene expression, metabolic flux, and signal transduction—within predictive envirotyping frameworks.

To study the coastal birds of Oaxaca's Costa Chica, we visited this region in the fall of 1995 and the summer and fall of 1996. During these visits we focused on coastal lagoons and barrier beaches, although we also made two sea trips and visited sandy ...

ERA5 near‐surface temperature over South America exhibits systematic cold biases in daily maximum temperature and warm biases in daily minimum temperature. To address the continent's strong climatic and topographic heterogeneity, South America was partitioned into five topoclimatic clusters, and four bias‐correction approaches were evaluated. The Multi‐
