Some schools have wide-ranging, time-tested programs, whereas others have initiated programs only recently, yet over half of the schools mentioned that there still was an unfilled need for continuing dental education in their locality.

Nederlands tijdschrift voor tandheelkunde, 2006In support of its quality policy, the Dutch Dental Association (NMT) has undertaken a survey to examine dentists'views on continuing education, accreditation, and their postgraduate course attendance. In December 2004 a written questionnaire was sent to a sample of 710 dentists, of whom 504 (71%) responded. The data were analysed using SPSS.

2005The aim of this study was to determine the demand for orthodontic courses by dentists in Turkey. The questionnaire was designed to determine the interest in both continuing dental and orthodontic education courses. Questionnaires were answered by 334 participants at a national symposium.
