AGING MEDICINE, EarlyView.The AWGS 2025 consensus shifts focus from diagnosing sarcopenia to promoting muscle health across the lifespan. It simplifies diagnosis to low muscle mass plus low strength, expands screening to middle‐aged adults, and integrates muscle health into the WHO ICOPE framework for early intervention and healthy aging.
