Why and How Workers Choose Less Work for Less Money: A Mixed‐Methods Study on a Working Time Reduction Scheme in Germany

ABSTRACT This study examines workers' motives for joining or rejecting a voluntary 28‐h work‐time reduction scheme in Germany.
