Interaction of EF‐Tu with EF‐Ts: substitution of His‐118 in EF‐Tu destabilizes the EF‐Tu·EF‐Ts complex but does not prevent EF‐Ts from stimulating the release of EF‐Tu‐bound GDP [PDF]

open access: yesFEBS Letters, 1998
Elongation factor Tu from Escherichia coli with His‐118 substituted by glycine (EF‐TuH118G) was found to be defective in complex formation with EF‐Ts. EF‐Ts in excess failed to dissociate kirromycin from the EF‐TuH118G·kirromycin complex and to form a stable complex with EF‐TuH118G on column chromatography.

Tunable Switching Mechanisms in HfZrO2‐Based Tunnel Junctions for High‐Performance Synaptic Arrays

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This work demonstrates hybrid switching in engineered HZO‐based FTJs, enabled by controlled interlayer design and oxygen scavenging dynamics. The combined switching mechanism produces robust multilevel conductance states in large crossbar arrays, offering a materials‐driven pathway toward scalable in‐memory computing with enhanced tunability and ...

Two‐Dimensional Triferroics: From Fundamental Couplings to Multifunctional Applications

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This graphic summarizes the three main types of currently reported 2D triferroic couplings. From the structural perspective, existing systems can be broadly classified into two categories, which exhibit distinct symmetry features and coupling behaviors. Beyond the lattice difference, a third type involves the interplay among ferroelectricity, magnetism,

Room‐Temperature Antiferroelectricity in Titanite (CaTiSiO5) Thin Films

open access: yesAdvanced Electronic Materials, EarlyView.
This study reports the first fabrication of titanite films featuring 1D chains of oxygen octahedra, along with the first observation of their antiferroelectric behavior at room temperature. A field‐induced ferroelectric phase is observed at ∼430 kV/cm, which is not reported in bulk titanite.
