Abstract In cryogenic CO2 desublimation systems where phase change dominates both heat transfer and separation, conventional lumped thermal‐resistance treatments embed interfacial latent heat into an overall heat‐transfer coefficient, obscuring how phase‐change heat is partitioned between the gas phase and the coolant and limiting diagnostic insight ...

We introduce null contractions of the Poincare and relativistic conformal algebras. The longitudinal null contraction involves writing the algebra in lightcone coordinates and contracting one of the null directions.

Time delay in κ-anti-de Sitter spacetime
Based on deformed translations in the κ-anti-de Sitter algebra, we derive a delay in the time of detection between a soft and a hard photon, which are simultaneously emitted at a distant event, to first order in the quantum gravity parameter.

A Unifying Approach to Self‐Organizing Systems Interacting via Conservation Laws
The article develops a unified way to model and analyze self‐organizing systems whose interactions are constrained by conservation laws. It represents physical/biological/engineered networks as graphs and builds projection operators (from incidence/cycle structure) that enforce those constraints and decompose network variables into constrained versus ...

Algebraic Representation of Social Capital Matrix [PDF]
This paper proposes a mathematical model based on a Boolean algebra involving a 4×4 social capital matrix [Shah (2008)], that emerges through interaction within and across individuals, communities, institutions and state.

Pseudo effect algebras are algebras over bounded posets
We prove that there is a monadic adjunction between the category of bounded posets and the category of pseudo effect algebras.

This article investigates how persistent homology, persistent Laplacians, and persistent commutative algebra reveal complementary geometric, topological, and algebraic invariants or signatures of real‐world data. By analyzing shapes, synthetic complexes, fullerenes, and biomolecules, the article shows how these mathematical frameworks enhance ...

We provide a formulation of quantum mechanics based on the cohomology of the Batalin-Vilkovisky (BV) algebra. Focusing on quantum-mechanical systems without gauge symmetry we introduce a homotopy retract from the chain complex of the harmonic oscillator ...

Overcoming the Nyquist Limit in Molecular Hyperspectral Imaging by Reinforcement Learning
Explorative spectral acquisition guide automatically selects informative spectral bands to optimize downstream tasks, outperforming full‐spectrum acquisition. The selected hyperspectral data are used for tasks such as unmixing and segmentation. BandOptiNet encodes selection states and outputs optimal bands to guide spectral acquisition. Recent advances
