On Algebras with Effectful Iteration [PDF]
For every finitary monad T on sets and every endofunctor F on the category of T-algebras we introduce the concept of an ffg-Elgot algebra for F, that is, an algebra admitting coherent solutions for finite systems of recursive equations with effects represented by the monad T. The goal of this paper is to study the existence and construction of free ffg-

MEASURES ON EFFECT ALGEBRAS [PDF]
AbstractIn this paper, by introducing the bounded variation measure defined on effect algebras, we present the equivalent conditions about uniformly strongly additive measures.

MAXIMAL SUBSETS OF PAIRWISE SUMMABLE ELEMENTS IN GENERALIZED EFFECT ALGEBRAS
We show that in any generalized effect algebra (G;⊕, 0) a maximal pairwise summable subset is a sub-generalized effect algebra of (G;⊕, 0), called a summability block.

Archimedean atomic lattice effect algebras in which all sharp elements are central [PDF]
summary:We prove that every Archimedean atomic lattice effect algebra the center of which coincides with the set of all sharp elements is isomorphic to a subdirect product of horizontal sums of finite chains, and conversely.

On the properties of spectral effect algebras [PDF]
The aim of this paper is to show that there can be either only one or uncountably many contexts in any spectral effect algebra, answering a question posed in [S. Gudder, Convex and Sequential Effect Algebras, (2018), arXiv:1802.01265].

Intervals of effect algebras and pseudo-effect algebras
Abstract It is shown that an arbitrary interval of a pseudo-effect algebra is a pseudo-effect algebra and some results concerning Riesz decomposition properties, compatibilities and states are proved.

A Logic for Algebraic Effects [PDF]
We present a logic for algebraic effects, based on the algebraic representation of computational effects by operations and equations. We begin with the a-calculus, a minimal calculus which separates values, effects, and computations and thereby canonises the order of evaluation.

The research is aims to determine the effect of feedback on students’ mistake in completing the algebra arithmetic operation. The effect can be seen by the average difference in students’ mistake in completing the algebra arithmetic operation between ...

Towards an algebra for cascade effects [PDF]
We introduce a new class of (dynamical) systems that inherently capture cascading effects (viewed as consequential effects) and are naturally amenable to combinations. We develop an axiomatic general theory around those systems, and guide the endeavor towards an understanding of cascading failure.
