MAXIMAL SUBSETS OF PAIRWISE SUMMABLE ELEMENTS IN GENERALIZED EFFECT ALGEBRAS
We show that in any generalized effect algebra (G;⊕, 0) a maximal pairwise summable subset is a sub-generalized effect algebra of (G;⊕, 0), called a summability block.

Extensions of Effect Algebra Operations
We study the set of all positive linear operators densely defined in an infinite-dimensional complex Hilbert space. We equip this set with various effect algebraic operations making it a generalized effect algebra.

New Directions in Categorical Logic, for Classical, Probabilistic and Quantum Logic [PDF]
Intuitionistic logic, in which the double negation law not-not-P = P fails, is dominant in categorical logic, notably in topos theory. This paper follows a different direction in which double negation does hold.

Levels and sublevels of composition algebras [PDF]
Lewis' and Leep's bounds on the level and sublevel of quaternion algebras are extended to the class of composition algebras. Some simple constructions of composition algebras of known level values are given.

Intervals in Generalized Effect Algebras and their Sub-generalized Effect Algebras
We consider subsets G of a generalized effect algebra E with 0∈G and such that every interval [0, q]G = [0, q]E ∩ G of G (q ∈ G , q ≠ 0) is a sub-effect algebra of the effect algebra [0, q]E.

On the Homology Theory of Operator Algebras
We investigate the cyclic homology and free resolution effect of a commutative unital Banach algebra. Using the free resolution operator, we define the relative cyclic homology of commutative Banach algebras. Lemmas and theorems of this investigation are

Optimal fuzzy control using hedge algebras of a damped elastic jointed inverted pendulum
In this paper, three controllers including OFCHA (optimal fuzzy control using hedge algebras-HAs), FCHA (fuzzy control using HAs) and CFC (conventional fuzzy control) are designed.

Quiver Varieties, Category O for Rational Cherednik Algebras, and Hecke Algebras [PDF]
We relate the representations of the rational Cherednik algebras associated with the complex reflection group S-n x (mu e)(n) to sheaves on Nakajima quiver varieties associated with extended Dynkin graphs via a Z-algebra construction.

Generalized Jordan Semitriple Maps on Hilbert Space Effect Algebras
Let ℰ(H) be the Hilbert space effect algebra on a Hilbert space H with dimH≥3, α,β two positive numbers with 2α+β≠1 and Φ:ℰ(H)→ℰ(H) a bijective map.
