Effects of Biological Sex and Age on Cerebrospinal Fluid Markers—A Retrospective Observational Study
ABSTRACT Objective Cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) analysis is a key diagnostic tool for neurological diseases. To date, only a few studies have investigated in larger cohorts the effect of age and biological sex on diagnostic markers extracted from CSF. Methods For this retrospective observational study, 4163 CSF findings (2012–2020) were evaluated.

Comparison of different efficiency criteria for hydrological model assessment [PDF]
The evaluation of hydrologic model behaviour and performance is commonly made and reported through comparisons of simulated and observed variables. Frequently, comparisons are made between simulated and measured streamflow at the catchment outlet.

Efficiency criteria for optimization of separation cascades for uranium enrichment
As it is known, uranium enrichment is carried out on industrial scale by means of multistage separation facilities, i.e., separation cascades in which gas centrifuges (GCs) are connected in series and parallel. Design and construction of these facilities

Proper Efficiency and Tradeoffs in Multiple Criteria and Stochastic Optimization [PDF]
The mathematical equivalence between linear scalarizations in multiobjective programming and expected-value functions in stochastic optimization suggests to investigate and establish further conceptual analogies between these two areas. In this paper, we focus on the notion of proper efficiency that allows us to provide a first comprehensive analysis ...
