Time‐resolved X‐ray solution scattering captures how proteins change shape in real time under near‐native conditions. This article presents a practical workflow for light‐triggered TR‐XSS experiments, from data collection to structural refinement. Using a calcium‐transporting membrane protein as an example, the approach can be broadly applied to study ...

The Aging Blood: Cellular Origins, Circulating Drivers, and Therapeutic Potential
As a conduit linking all organs, the blood system both reflects and actively drives systemic aging. This review highlights how circulating pro‐aging and antiaging factors and age‐associated hematopoietic stem cell dysfunction contribute to immunosenescence and multi‐organ decline, positioning the hematopoietic system as a target for aging intervention.

ABSTRACT As global populations age, cancer is increasingly becoming a leading cause of morbidity and mortality among older adults, particularly in low‐ and middle‐income countries (LMICs). Despite accounting for the majority of new cancer cases and deaths, older individuals remain underrepresented in cancer research, clinical guidelines, and health ...

Chance Constrained Efficiency Evaluation
Management Science, 1995A model for efficiency evaluation based upon the theory of chance constrained programming is developed. The model uses a piecewise linear envelopment of confidence regions for observed stochastic multiple-input multiple-output combinations in the Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) tradition.

Efficient Extended ABAC Evaluation
Proceedings of the 23nd ACM on Symposium on Access Control Models and Technologies, 2018A main challenge of attribute-based access control (ABAC) is the handling of missing information. Several studies show that the way standard ABAC mechanisms (e.g., XACML) handle missing information is flawed, making ABAC policies vulnerable to attribute-hiding attacks.

The Human Efficiency Evaluator
2017With more and more systems and machines operating autonomously, the role of the operator is changing from “being actively in control” to “monitor and intervene”. Human Machine Interfaces (HMI) therefore need to be optimized so that they can efficiently be monitored by a human.

An Efficient Infertility Evaluation
Clinical Obstetrics & Gynecology, 2011The biological clock is a major adversary to human reproduction. Not only does fecundity wane with time, but so does an infertility patient's emotional reserve. Therefore, a well-organized approach to evaluating, treating, and referring patients to subspecialty centers when necessary is critical to optimally manage infertility.
