Electrochemical Carbon Dioxide Reduction to Methanol on Copper‐Based Catalysts: Mechanistic Insights and Industrial Prospects

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
This review presents a focused and integrated perspective on copper‐based catalysts for the selective electrochemical reduction of CO2 to methanol. It elucidates active site dynamics, mechanistic pathways, and structure–activity relationships, while connecting fundamental insights with catalyst design, reactor engineering, and techno‐economic ...

LABOUR PRODUCTIVITY, REAL WAGES AND UNEMPLOYMENT: AN APPLICATION OF BOUNDS TEST APPROACH FOR TURKEY [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Economic and Social Development (Varaždin), 2017
This study investigates the relationship between labour productivity, average real wages, and the unemployment rate by employing the bounds testing procedure within an autoregressive distributed lag (ARDL) modeling approach and applies Toda-Yamamoto ...

The effects of increasing openness and integration to the MERCOSUR on the Uruguayan labour market. A CGE modeling analysis [PDF]

open access: yes
Uruguay is a small economy. Its integration to MERCOSUR has increased the exposure to regional macroeconomic inestability. The aim of this paper is to assess the impact of regional integration on labour market and poverty. We estimated wage differentials

In Situ Amine Formation to Modulate MOF‐Derived PdIn N‐Doped Carbon Catalysts

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
An amine‐assisted approach converts PdIn‐MOF into PdIn intermetallic nanoparticles embedded in N‐doped carbon. In situ‐generated amines trigger early Pd nucleation, producing smaller PdIn domains than direct pyrolysis. Amine sterics and basicity tune composition and particle size, while solvent and amine co‐determine textural features.

Survey on Wage and Price Formation of Czech Firms [PDF]

open access: yes
Using an ad-hoc survey at the firm level, we investigate the determinants of wage and price-setting practices in Czech firms, the presence and sources of wage rigidity, and reactions of firms to hypothetical shocks. Although the evidence of downward wage

Advanced Porous Materials for Maritime Carbon Capture

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Carbon capture from emission sources, such as marine vessels, has attracted significant attention over the years. To achieve this goal, sorbents such as metal–organic frameworks (MOFs), porous polymer networks (PPNs), covalent organic frameworks (COFs), and their post‐synthetic modifications are currently being explored.

Strategic Union Delegation and Strike Activity [PDF]

open access: yes
We develop a model of wage determination with private information, in which te union has the option to delegate the wage bargaining to either surplus-maximizing delegates or to wage-maximizing delegates (such as senior union members).

Improving Ionic Conformality Across Polymer Electrolyte|Electrode Interfaces

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Polymer electrolytes typically form physically intimate electrode interfaces but often fail to maintain continuous ionic pathways, critically limiting battery performance. Through strategic compositional design, this study introduces a molecular ionic composite electrolyte that effectively reduces interfacial ionic depletion, ensuring consistent ion ...

Downward Wage Rigidities and Other Firms’ Responses to an Economic Slowdown: Evidence from a Survey of Colombian Firms [PDF]

open access: yes
This paper uses a wage setting survey of 1,305 Colombian firms to explore the nature and sources of wage rigidities. This is the first study of a non-European emerging economy that uses evidence from a survey of firms to analyse this topic.
