Hyperpolarization of [1‐13C]Ketoisocaproate‐d2 by Reversible Exchange with Parahydrogen Enables Profiling of Branched‐Chain‐Amino‐Acid Metabolism in Cellulo and in Vivo

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
We report the fast generation of biocompatible solutions of highly 13C‐hyperpolarized (≈11%) partially‐deuterated ketoisocaproate within <6 min using spin‐lock‐induced crossing and reversible exchange with parahydrogen (SLIC‐SABRE). This enables rapid detection of branched‐chain‐amino‐acid transferase 1 (BCAT1) protein expression and investigation of ...

Adaptive market hypothesis and momentum effect: Evidence from Dhaka Stock Exchange

open access: yesCogent Economics & Finance, 2019
This paper examines time-varying behavior of momentum and contrarian profits to identify the existence of adaptive market hypothesis (AMH), and whether AMH can provide justification for the presence of such anomalous behavior in the Dhaka Stock Exchange (

Highly Stabilized Ni‐Rich Cathodes Enabled by Artificially Reversing Naturally‐Formed Interface

open access: yesAdvanced Energy Materials, Volume 15, Issue 11, March 18, 2025.
The application of Ni‐rich cathode materials is obstructed by interfacial and structural instability. This work proposes a facile and cost‐effective Al‐based vapor‐phase surface reaction strategy on Ni‐rich cathode to maintain its structural integrity from near‐surface to bulk.

Prediction of Structural Stability of Layered Oxide Cathode Materials: Combination of Machine Learning and Ab Initio Thermodynamics

open access: yesAdvanced Energy Materials, EarlyView.
In this work, we developed a phase‐stability predictor by combining machine learning and ab initio thermodynamics approaches, and identified the key factors determining the favorable phase for a given composition. Specifically, a lower TM ionic potential, higher Na content, and higher mixing entropy favor the O3 phase.

Market Efficiency within the German Stock Market: A Comparative Study of the Relative Efficiencies of the DAX, MDAX, SDAX and ASE Indices [PDF]

open access: yes
It can be implied from the efficient market hypothesis that the more transparent a market is, then the more likely that the market will be efficient. This paper is a study of whether the different transparency standards applied to the different indices ...

Assessing Mesoscale Heterogeneities in Hard Carbon Electrodes Through Deep Learning‐Assisted FIB‐SEM Characterization, Manufacturing and Electrochemical Modeling

open access: yesAdvanced Energy Materials, EarlyView.
A combination of discrete and finite element method models for the current collector deformation and electrochemical performance analysis, respectively. The models are calibrated and validated with electrochemical and imaging data of hard carbon electrodes. These electrodes were manufactured with different parameters (slurry solid contents of 35 and 40

Analysis of the stock market anomalies in the context of changing the information paradigm [PDF]

open access: yesEastern Journal of European Studies, 2019
The present paper describes the results of a comprehensive research in the information efficiency of the Ukrainian stock market in the context of a financial paradigm transformation which causes a need to modify the EMH (efficient market hypothesis). The

Kenyan Farmers' Policy Priorities During Economic Crisis and Stability: Insights From a Best‐Worst Scaling Experiment

open access: yesApplied Economic Perspectives and Policy, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Amid rising food and fertilizer prices, understanding farmers' policy preferences is critical for effective crisis response. We use best‐worst scaling experiment to assess Kenyan mobile‐owning crop farmers' preferences for government support under high and normal price scenarios.
