Treatment of Effluent with an Anaerobic Aerobic Effluent Treatment System

open access: yesJournal of Engineering Research and Reports, 2023
Today energy and clean water is a requirement in all societies worldwide to run productive processes. This affects the natural environment negatively and requires establishing more environmentally sustainable processes to decrease dependency and preserve the natural environment. In this research approach a laboratory anaerobic aerobic effluent ...

Changes in Immune‐Inflammation Status and Prognosis in Pregnancy‐Related Cerebral Venous Thrombosis

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objective Distinguishing pathological changes from physiological adaptations in pregnancy‐related cerebral venous thrombosis (CVT) is clinically challenging. This study aimed to characterize coagulation, immune‐inflammation, and dehydration status in these patients and assess their prognostic value.

From Bubbles to Nanobubbles

open access: yesNanomaterials, 2021
Nanobubbles are classified into surface and bulk. The main difference between them is that the former is immobile, whereas the latter is mobile. The existence of sNBs has already been proven by atomic force microscopy, but the existence of bNBs is still ...

Fusogenic RNA Nanomodules for Fusion‐Mediated and Multiplexed siRNA Delivery

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A fusogenic lipid‐layered RNA nanomodules (L‐CRAMs) enable high‐capacity and long‐lasting siRNA delivery through membrane fusion. These nanomodules carry exceptionally large siRNA payloads, avoid conventional endosomal uptake, and release multiple functional siRNAs through Dicer‐mediated processing.

Phytoremediation of the coalmine effluent

open access: yesEcotoxicology and Environmental Safety, 2012
Coal mine effluent was subjected to detoxification by phytoremediation using two macrophytes Azolla pinnata and Lemna minor. Both plants were kept separately in the effluents for 7 day. The initial concentration (mg L⁻¹) of eight metals: Fe, Mn, Cu, Zn, Ni, Pb, Cr and Cd investigated in the effluent were 22.91±0.02, 9.61±1.6, 2.04±0.23, 1.03±0.15, 0.86±

Ionic Precursors Transformed Into Vinyl Acetate Synthesis Catalyst via Reaction‐Driven Restructuring

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
This work demonstrates that a simple physical mixture of Pd and Au ionic precursors, KOAc promoter, and SiO2 support can transform into a highly active vinyl acetate synthesis catalyst through reaction‐driven restructuring. The results highlight reaction‐induced restructuring as an innovative and sustainable catalyst design strategy.

Functionalizing Micro‐to‐Mesoscopic Electrode Architectures for Regulating Electron Transfer Behaviors in Electrocatalysis

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A systematic review is conducted to assess the influence of electrode architecture across micro‐ to mesoscopic length scales on electron‐transfer pathways in electrocatalysis. We discuss the structure‐activity relationships in electrocatalytic applications, including resource recovery and environmental remediation, and provide cost‐effective, efficient
