Reverse Effects of Nicotinamide Mononucleotide Supplementation on Declining Quality of Oocytes With Polycystic Ovary Syndrome

Supplementation with NMN improves oocyte quality in a PCOS mouse model by restoring NAD+ levels, reducing oxidative stress, enhancing mitochondrial function, and preserving spindle integrity. Mechanistically, NMN activates SIRT1 expression via the NAD+ salvage pathway, offering a promising strategy to enhance in vitro maturation and fertility outcomes.
