Enhanced Protein Photo‐Stability Analysis Using SRCD in the Presence of Phospholipid SUVs

open access: yesChemistry – A European Journal, Volume 31, Issue 37, July 2, 2025.
The influence of lipid presence on the photostability of proteins was assessed using a synchrotron radiation circular dichroism UV‐denaturation experiment at Diamond B23 beamline. The presence of SUVs preserves the native structure in proteins, particularly in those with a high helical content, suggesting that lipids may play a protective role against ...

A Biodegradable Radical Polymer Enables High‐Performance, Physically Transient Organic Memory

open access: yesAngewandte Chemie, Volume 137, Issue 27, July 1, 2025.
A stable radical polymer with intrinsic memristivity and on‐demand physical transience is presented. We leverage the nonconjugated nature of the radical polymer for a systematic molecular engineering. The polymer enabled a high‐performance organic memristive device comparable to inorganic transient memory devices, now equipped with additional ...

Downregulation of O‐GlcNAcylation enhances etoposide‐induced p53‐mediated apoptosis in HepG2 human liver cancer cells

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, Volume 15, Issue 7, Page 1176-1188, July 2025.
Etoposide, a topoisomerase II inhibitor, reduces O‐GlcNAcylation in HepG2 liver cancer cells. Further inhibition of O‐GlcNAc transferase by OSMI‐1 enhanced etoposide‐induced apoptosis, lowering the IC50 for viability and increasing the EC50 for cytotoxicity.

Biocompatible Porphyrin Derivatives Electron Beam and Extreme Ultraviolet Photoresists: High Resolution and High Etch Resistance

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Interfaces, Volume 12, Issue 13, July 14, 2025.
Porphyrin derivatives are introduced for electron beams and extreme ultraviolet lithography. The lithographic performance of the novel CuTP‐4Epoxy photoresist is excellent, with a resolution of 18 nm in EBL and 20 nm in EUVL, and the photoresist also exhibits high etch resistance.

CCDC80 Protects against Aortic Dissection and Rupture by Maintaining the Contractile Smooth Muscle Cell Phenotype

open access: yesAdvanced Science, Volume 12, Issue 26, July 10, 2025.
Aortic dissection (AD) is accompanied by a decrease in CCDC80 in vascular smooth muscle cells (VSMCs). CCDC80 can interact with JAK2, and VSMC‐specific CCDC80 deficiency accelerates the progression of AD by activating the JAK2/STAT3 pathway involved in regulating the phenotype switching and function of VSMCs.
