The Strength Behaviour of Eggshell Powder Substitution on Soil-lime Stabilization
Abstract This study explored the investigation into enhancing soil strength characteristics using eggshell powder (ESP) as a lime substitution on soil-lime stabilization. The ESP was naturally available while using this material, which could reduce cost and other environmental effects.

Compressive Strength of Concrete containing Eggshell Powder as Partial Cement Replacement
Abstract The emission of carbon dioxide by cement manufacturing has caused a negative impact on society and environment such as the greenhouse effect. Disposal of eggshell has created a lot of environmental problems due to its reusability of material is low in many industries.

We first tried to monitor the critical points for eggshell breakage in different logistic chains. Second, we examined whether there was a difference in eggshell strength among eggs produced in different housing systems. Finally, we developed a model to investigate the relation between eggshell strength and the likelihood of an egg cracking during ...

Role of Ultrastructure in Determining Eggshell Strength
Abstract The relationship of eggshell mammillary structure to eggshell strength was studied. Eggshells produced from Single Comb White Leghorn hens of the Cornell high eggshell strength (HES) or low eggshell strength (LES) strains with similar shell thickness (HES: .356 ± .056 mm; LES: .307 ± .006 mm, P>.05) but with significantly different shell ...
