Comparative Parasitology, 2002Abstract Fourteen species of endohelminths, including 1 acanthocephalan, 3 cestodes, 1 nematode, and 9 trematodes, were collected from 13 little blue herons Egretta caerulea from the area of Galveston, Texas, U.S.A. A mean of 4.3 (3–6) species of endohelminths per host was found.
