This paper will present the formation of the Egyptian Collection of the Museum of the Free and Royal City of Osijek, the present-day Museum of Slavonia in Osijek, established by the donation of an Egyptian artefact – a faience amulet of the God Shu – donated by Ludwig H. Fischer in 1893.
