The Principle of Localization at the Class of Functions Integrable in the Riemann for the Processes of Lagrange - Sturm - Liouville [PDF]
Let us say that the principle of localization holds at the class of functions $F$ at point $x_0 \in [0, \pi]$ for the Lagrange\,--\,Sturm\,--\,Liouville interpolation process $L_n^{SL}(f,x)$ if $\lim_{n \rightarrow \infty}\left|L_n^{SL}(f, x_0)-L_n^{SL ...

Vortex Solutions for Thermohaline circulation Equations [PDF]
The main objective of this article is to establish a new model and find some vortex axisymmetric solutions of finite core size for this model. We introduce the hydrodynamical equations governing the atmospheric circulation over the tropics, the ...

Experimental Results of Partial Discharge Localization in Bounded Domains
This work presents a novel diagnostic method to localize Partial Discharges (PDs) inside Medium Voltage (MV) and High Voltage (HV) equipment. The method is well suited for that equipment presenting a bounded domain with fixed Boundary Conditions (BCs ...

PI-eigenfunctions of the Star graphs [PDF]
We consider the symmetric group $\mathrm{Sym}_n,\,n\geqslant 2$, generated by the set $S$ of transpositions $(1~i),\,2 \leqslant i \leqslant n$, and the Cayley graph $S_n=Cay(\mathrm{Sym}_n,S)$ called the Star graph. For any positive integers $n\geqslant 3$ and $m$ with $n > 2m$, we present a family of $PI$-eigenfunctions of $S_n$ with eigenvalue $n-

Stochastic Duality and Eigenfunctions [PDF]
We start from the observation that, anytime two Markov generators share an eigenvalue, the function constructed from the product of the two eigenfunctions associated to this common eigenvalue is a duality function. We push further this observation and provide a full characterization of duality relations in terms of spectral decompositions of the ...

Estimates for Dirichlet Eigenfunctions [PDF]
Estimates for the Dirichlet eigenfunctions near the boundary of an open, bounded set in euclidean space are obtained. It is assumed that the boundary satisfies a uniform capacitary density condition.

In this article, we investigate a problem with nonlocal boundary conditions which are perturbations of antiperiodical conditions in bounded $m$-dimensional parallelepiped using Fourier method. We describe properties of a transformation operator $R:L_2(G)

Spectral problem for the sixth order nonclassical differential equations
In this article we investigate the correctness of boundary value problems for a sixth order quasi-hyperbolic equation in the Sobolev space Lu = −D6t u + ∆u − λu (Dt =∂/∂t , ∆ = Σni=1∂2/∂x2i – Laplace operator, λ – real parameter). For the given operator

An energy‐conserving discrete framework for the vertical discretisation of stratified ocean models is developed using internal gravity‐wave theory. A β$$ \beta $$‐indexed family of schemes is analysed through perturbation theory, revealing optimal parameter choices and grid designs that reduce truncation errors significantly.
