The reactions between tetra(pyridin‐4‐ylthio)tetrathiafulvalene and Br2/I2/ICl/IBr led to a variety of products, including a rare example of neutral 1:4 CT adduct and ionic products showing supramolecular cage motifs at (tri)halide templates. The nature of the reaction products was elucidated based on XRD analysis, Raman spectroscopy and QTAIM, NCI ...

A perturbative Graetz model describes coupled heat and mass transfer in reactive Couette–Poiseuille flow between parallel plates. Viscous dissipation and heat of reaction produce a small temperature rise, which enhances Arrhenius reaction rates and modestly accelerates axial species conversion in the small‐Brinkman‐number regime.

An eigenvalue decomposition based multi-platform synthetic aperture positioning method
A multi-platform synthetic aperture positioning (SAP) method based on eigenvalue decomposition was proposed to address the mismatched resolution and low positioning accuracy in two dimensions of single-platform SAP method.

Dynamic survival risk prediction with time‐varying high‐dimensional images
Abstract Integrating longitudinal data with survival models is a prevalent strategy for dynamic survival risk prediction while accounting for subjects' longitudinally observed variables. However, existing methods primarily focus on scalar longitudinal data and seldom tackle the complexities associated with high‐dimensional longitudinal imaging data ...

Stability of Viscous Three‐Dimensional Stratified Couette Flow via Dispersion and Mixing
ABSTRACT This article explores the stability of stratified Couette flow in the viscous 3d$3d$ Boussinesq equations. In this system, mixing effects arise from the shearing background, and gravity acts as a restoring force leading to dispersive internal gravity waves.

International audienceIn this paper, we introduce and study an original joint diagonalization problem. The novelty of this problem lies in the relationship between the two diagonalizing matrices, one being the Moore-Penrose pseudo-inverse of the other ...

Front Propagation Through a Perforated Wall
ABSTRACT We consider a bistable reaction– diffusion equation ut=Δu+f(u)$u_t=\Delta u +f(u)$ on RN${\mathbb {R}}^N$ in the presence of an obstacle K$K$, which is a wall of infinite span with many holes. More precisely, K$K$ is a closed subset of RN${\mathbb {R}}^N$ with smooth boundary such that its projection onto the x1$x_1$‐axis is bounded and that ...

Joint Eigenvalue Decomposition Using Polar Matrix Factorization.
International audienceIn this paper we propose a new algorithm for the joint eigenvalue decomposition of a set of real non-defective matrices. Our approach resorts to a Jacobi-like procedure based on polar matrix decomposition.
