Eigenvalue problem for arbitrary linear combinations of a boson annihilation and creation operator
Annalen der Physik, 1992AbstractThe eigenvalue problem for arbitrary linear combinations kα + μα† of a boson annihilation operator α and a boson creation operator α† is solved. It is shown that these operators possess nondegenerate eigenstates to arbitrary complex eigenvalues.

An iterative method of solving the eigenvalue problem for a polynomial pencil of linear operators
USSR Computational Mathematics and Mathematical Physics, 1989Abstract An iterative method for solving the eigenvalue problem for a polynomial pencil of linear operators is discussed. As a preliminary, some spectral properties of the pencil are studied. The main result is to prove the convergence of the iterative process.
