On the Necessity of Dynamic Inflow [PDF]
This work explores the importance of dynamic inflow for wind turbines of varying rotor radius and also includes various coplanar multirotor setups. A parametrized model including the rotor and inflow dynamics is formulated.

BROAD‐NESS Uncovers Dual‐Stream Mechanisms Underlying Predictive Coding in Auditory Memory Networks
BROADband Network Estimation via Source Space (BROAD‐NESS) is a flexible analytical pipeline for identifying large‐scale brain networks from event‐related, source‐reconstructed MEG data, with a focus on auditory predictive and memory processes. BROAD‐NESS integrates a suite of complementary tools, including PCA‐based decomposition, phase space, and ...

Dancing Electrohydrodynamic Tip Streaming Modulated by Faraday Instability
A novel dancing electrospray phenomenon is reported characterized by high‐frequency, robust, and multi‐directional alternating ejection modes. This phenomenon arises from the electrohydrodynamic (EHD) tip streaming at the crests of Faraday waves excited on the liquid meniscus, and it offers significant advantages in high‐throughput and multi‐path ...

A switchable bidirectional acoustic metastructure is proposed, enabling broadband and frequency‐selective absorption via interleaved resonator coupling and exceptional point modulation. It outperforms traditional unidirectional designs, offering compact, efficient sound control from both directions and establishing a generalized framework for extending

On the distribution of the eigenvalues of a class of indefinite eigenvalue problems
The authors consider boundary eigenvalue problems of the form \[ y^{(n)}(x)+\sum^ n_{\nu=2}f_ \nu(x)y^{(n-\nu)}(x)=\lambda r(x)y(x)\qquad (x\in[0,1]), \] \[ U_{\nu0}(y)+U_{\nu1}(y)=0\qquad (\nu=1,2,\dots,n), \] where \(n\geq 2\), the coefficients \(f_ \nu\) belong to \(L_ 1(0,1)\), \(r:[0,1]\to\mathbb{R}\backslash\{0\}\) is a step function, and the two-

A programmable 3D Neuron‐Injury‐on‐a‐Chip platform integrates multiaxial mechanical loading with ultrasensitive electrochemical biosensing to decode neuronal responses in real time. By mimicking physiologically relevant extension–torsion forces, the system reveals load‐specific biomarker trajectories (T‐Tau, NFL), gene regulation, and apoptosis.
