On Eigenfunctions and Eigenvalues of a Nonlocal Laplace Operator with Multiple Involution
We study the eigenfunctions and eigenvalues of the boundary value problem for the nonlocal Laplace equation with multiple involution. An explicit form of the eigenfunctions and eigenvalues for the unit ball are obtained.

In this paper, we present the basic routines of the C++-program Matslise 3.0, an updated but yet restricted version of the matlab package Matslise 2.0. Matslise 3.0 currently allows the accurate, but in comparison to Matslise 2.0, faster computation of ...

Eigenfunctions and Eigenvalues on Surfaces of Revolution
Results in Mathematics, 1990Let M be a surface of revolution; M is topologically a sphere or torus. The rotation group O(2) acts on M by isometries and also on the eigenspaces E(\(\lambda)\) for the Laplacian D. Each irreducible representation of dimension 2 is characterized by a winding number \(k\in {\mathbb{N}}\).

Eigenfunctions and eigenvalues of squeeze operators
Physical Review A, 1990In this paper we have constructed the continuum eigenfunctions and eigenvalue spectra for the squeeze operators of both single mode and two modes. Our analyses also show explicitly that proper eigenstates of both single-mode and two-mode squeeze operators do not exist, which implies that the squeeze operators do not have a discrete spectrum.

Eigenvalues and Eigenfunctions
2011The results obtained in Chapters 2–5 can be used in the computation of eigenvalues of filters, which are given by translation-invariant linear operators. To recall, let A :\( L^2(\mathbb{Z}_{N})\rightarrow L^2(\mathbb{Z}_{N})\) be a filters, i.e., a translation-invariant linear operator.

Eigenfunctions and eigenvalues of the Wigner operator
Physics Letters A, 1975Abstract It can be proved, that the Wigner operator, which results from the Quantum-Mechanical foundation of Bopp, accepts as eigenvalues the differences of the eigenvalues of two equivalent Schrodinger equations. The eigenfunctions result with the help of a Fourier transform in the phase space of the corresponding eigenfunctions of the Schrodinger ...

Eigenvalue and Eigenfunction Statistics
2015In the foregoing section, we considered in detail statistical characteristics of the wavefield in random medium. We discussed the problems on the wave incident on a medium layer (half-space) and the waves generated by a source in the medium. In parallel with the above problems, physics of disordered systems (see, e.g., [242]) places high emphasis on ...
