The eikonal approach to gravitational scattering and radiation at O $$ \mathcal{O} $$ (G 3)
Using N $$ \mathcal{N} $$ = 8 supergravity as a theoretical laboratory, we extract the 3PM gravitational eikonal for two colliding massive scalars from the classical limit of the corresponding elastic two-loop amplitude.

Axions Scattering From a Quadrupole Magnetic Field
We study the 2D scattering of axions from an accelerator like quadrupole magnet using the eikonal approximation in order to learn whether or not such a setup could serve as a new possible method for detecting axions on terrestrial experiments.

Abstract figure legend This study examines the relationships between activation and repolarization times in epicardial reconstructed unipolar electrograms derived from ECG‐imaging in patients with normal and delayed ventricular activation. In patients with a narrow QRS‐complex, ECG‐imaging reveals significant variability in the activation ...

Jet Drift in Heavy Ion Collisions [PDF]
We introduce a sub-eikonal anisotropic contribution to jetbroadening, “jet drift”, that couples to the flow of the medium, showing that this effect results in a deflection of hard partons, and thus jets, in the direction of the medium flow.

Atrial fibrosis in atrial fibrillation: Mechanisms, mapping techniques and clinical applications
Abstract figure legend Summary of key aspects of atrial fibrosis in atrial fibrillation, highlighting atrial fibrosis as a hallmark of atrial fibrillation (AF). (1) Different types of fibrosis (blue), illustrating reparative and reactive fibrosis; (2) fibrosis detection techniques (green), illustrating late gadolinium enhancement cardiac magnetic ...

Power corrections in eikonal cross sections [PDF]
We discuss power corrections associated with the infrared behavior of the perturbative running coupling in the eikonal approximation to Drell-Yan and other annihilation cross sections in hadron-hadron scattering.

Bosonization and the eikonal expansion: similarities and differences
We compare two non-perturbative techniques for calculating the single-particle Green's function of interacting Fermi systems with dominant forward scattering: our recently developed functional integral approach to bosonization in arbitrary dimensions ...

Abstract figure legend Activation time (AT) maps from right ventricular apical pacing in a human ventricles model with longer action potential duration in the His‐Purkinje system (HPS) than in the myocardium (MYO). For pacing with a long S1S2 coupling interval (CI), the AT from the myocardial pacing site to the first AT of the HPS (ATMYO) is longer ...

Quantization conditions and the double copy
We formulate Wilson loop observables as products of eikonal Wilson lines given in terms of on-shell scattering amplitudes. We derive the eikonal phases for dyons in both gauge theory and gravity, which we use to derive the Dirac-Schwinger-Zwanziger ...
