open access: yesJournal of Religious History, Volume 50, Issue 2, Page 175-195, June 2026.
Anti‐Protestantism was one of the reasons for the revival of missions during the interwar period. By the 1960s, however, Protestants were less and less often mentioned as a threat to missionary efforts, and the decline in inter‐confessional tensions was increasingly considered a relic of the past.

open access: yesHistory and Theory, Volume 65, Issue 2, Page 237-256, June 2026.

His article, titled “Micro‐analisi e storia sociale” (Microanalysis and Social History), is cited more often than it is read.

Hematite Formation During Skarn Mineralization in the Akatani Iron Deposit, Niigata Prefecture, Japan

open access: yesResource Geology, Volume 76, Issue 1, January/December 2026.
The Akatani Fe deposit in NE Japan has been regarded as a skarn deposit because iron‐oxide ores occur within marble‐hosted skarn near the Cretaceous Ninoujidake granite. U–Pb dating of fluorapatite in the skarn indicates that this skarn formed in the Late Cretaceous, contemporaneous with the granite.

Hydrothermal Circulation During Continental Breakup: Evolution of a Subseafloor Stockwork Mineralization at the South China Sea Rifted Margin

open access: yesGeochemistry, Geophysics, Geosystems, Volume 26, Issue 11, November 2025.
Abstract Hydrothermal activity during continental breakup and early oceanic spreading is poorly understood due to limited samples. A basalt‐hosted hydrothermal mineralization, drilled during IODP Expedition 367/368 at the northern South China Sea at the continent‐ocean transition provides a unique opportunity to investigate this phenomenon.
