Rigidity results for closed vacuum static spaces

open access: yesAIMS Mathematics, 2023
In this paper we studied rigidity results for closed vacuum static spaces. By using the maximum principle, we achieved rigidity theorems under some pointwise inequalities and showed that the squared norm of the Ricci curvature tensor was discrete.

La Física al encuentro de la complejidad

open access: yesArbor: Ciencia, Pensamiento y Cultura, 2007
A propósito de la conmemoración del Año Mundial de la Física 2005 se presenta una visión panorámica de la física de los sistemas complejos, que constituye una nueva frontera de la Física cuyos orígenes se remontan a comienzos del siglo XX, pero cuyo ...

On homogeneous warped product Einstein metrics [PDF]

open access: yes, 2014
In this article we study homogeneous warped product Einstein metrics and its connections with homogeneous Ricci solitons. We show that homogeneous $(\lambda,n+m)$-Einstein manifolds (which are the bases of homogeneous warped product Einstein metrics) are

Den obegripliga fysiken

open access: yesKulturella Perspektiv, 1994
Natural science can both have a profound influence on and be itself influenced by other aspects of culture, even those which at first seem far removed from the laboratory.

Sasaki-Einstein and paraSasaki-Einstein metrics from (\kappa,\mu)-structures [PDF]

open access: yes, 2013
We prove that any non-Sasakian contact metric (\kappa,\mu)-space admits a canonical \eta-Einstein Sasakian or \eta-Einstein paraSasakian metric. An explicit expression for the curvature tensor fields of those metrics is given and we find the values of ...

Einstein’s boxes [PDF]

open access: yesAmerican Journal of Physics, 2005
At the 1927 Solvay conference, Albert Einstein presented a thought experiment intended to demonstrate the incompleteness of the quantum mechanical description of reality. In the following years, the experiment was modified by Einstein, de Broglie, and several other commentators into a simple scenario involving the splitting in half of the wave function

Einstein y la filosofía del siglo XX

open access: yesArbor: Ciencia, Pensamiento y Cultura, 2007
Se analizan las influencias filosóficas que ayudaron a Albert Einstein en la construcción de la teoría de la relatividad especial, y cómo sus opiniones filosóficas cambiaron con el tiempo para adecuarlas al contenido de su física, un rasgo que es ...

Boundary conditions for hyperbolic formulations of the Einstein equations [PDF]

open access: yes, 2003
In regards to the initial-boundary value problem of the Einstein equations, we argue that the projection of the Einstein equations along the normal to the boundary yields necessary and appropriate boundary conditions for a wide class of equivalent ...

Depiction of Space-Time Ontological Geometry Based on Mulla Sadra and Einstein’s Epistemological Bases [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Philosophical Investigations
The purpose of this article is to explain the quality of creation and examine the essence of space-time based on Sadra'i philosophy and its comparison with physical propositions. The present descriptive-analytical article explores two issues. One is from
