On Conformally Compact Einstein Manifolds [PDF]

open access: yesMathematical Research Letters, 2001
During the last couple of years conformally compact Einstein manifolds have appeared in string theory as the mathematical framework for the Ads/CFT correspondence which gives a close connection between conformal field theory and supergravity. Inspired by these facts the author establishes several results which support an expectation that there should ...

A 3D Human Bone and Bone Marrow‐on‐a‐Chip Model for In Vitro Bone Remodeling and Immune Cell Maintenance

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study presents a human Bone (and Bone Marrow)‐on‐a‐Chip model based on native human bone scaffolds and autologous cells. Dynamic perfusion and sequential cell seeding replicate the physiological bone remodeling process in vitro, enabling the long‐term culture of functional, mature bone marrow immune subpopulations.

EINSTEIN MANIFOLDS AS YANG–MILLS INSTANTONS [PDF]

open access: yesModern Physics Letters A, 2013
It is well known that Einstein gravity can be formulated as a gauge theory of Lorentz group where spin connections play a role of gauge fields and Riemann curvature tensors correspond to their field strengths. One can then pose an interesting question: What is the Einstein equation from the gauge theory point of view? Or equivalently, what is the gauge

Enhancing Maturation of Human Neuromuscular Organoids via Electrical Stimulation

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A framework for on‐demand and non‐invasive exposure of human neuromuscular organoids (NMOs) to electrical stimuli is established to promote their maturation. The robustness and effectiveness of different stimulation regimes are evaluated via thorough characterization of organoid tissue structure and contraction capacity. Chronic electrical stimulation,

Super Quasi-Einstein Warped Products Manifolds with Respect to Affine Connections

open access: yesAxioms
In this paper, we investigate warped products on super quasi-Einstein manifolds under affine connections. We explore their fundamental properties, establish conditions for their existence, and prove that these manifolds can also be nearly quasi-Einstein ...

Einstein gravity from Conformal Gravity in 6D

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2021
We extend Maldacena’s argument, namely, obtaining Einstein gravity from Conformal Gravity, to six dimensional manifolds. The proof relies on a particular combination of conformal (and topological) invariants, which makes manifest the fact that 6D ...

Sasakian structures a foliated approach

open access: yesDemonstratio Mathematica, 2017
Recent renewed interest in Sasakian manifolds is due mainly to the fact that they can provide examples of generalized Einstein manifolds, manifolds which are of great interest in mathematical models of various aspects of physical phenomena.

Photonic‐Enabled Energy‐Efficient Transparent Neuromorphic Computing Devices: A Review

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Transparent photonic neuromorphic computing devices merge optics and brain‐inspired computing to overcome von Neumann bottlenecks with ultrafast, low‐energy processing. By exploiting transparent oxides, 2D materials, phase‐change materials, and hybrid heterostructures, these platforms enable photonic synapses, memory, and logic for see‐through edge ...

Conformal Mappings of Mixed Generalized Quasi-Einstein Manifolds Admitting Special Vector Fields

open access: yesExtracta Mathematicae, 2017
It is known that Einstein manifolds form a natural subclass of the class of quasi-Einstein manifolds and plays an important role in geometry as well as in general theory of relativity.
