Defect‐Functionalization‐Mediated Tunneling Drives Nonlinear Photoemission in Perovskites

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This cover illustration depicts CsPbBr3 perovskite nanocrystals embedded with functionalized defect vacancies, where electrons migrate through defect‐mediated pathways and emit as lightning‐like beams. The imagery visualizes the core discovery of our work—defect‐functionalization‐mediated tunneling enabling nonlinear photoemission, where deep‐level ...

Remarks on Mӧller mistaken famous paper from 1943 [PDF]

open access: yes
Einstein field equations was originally derived by Einstein in 1915 in respect with canonical formalism of Riemann geometry,i.e. by using the classical sufficiently smooth metric tensor, smooth Riemann curvature tensor, smooth Ricci ...

Topology‐Enriched Toughness Enhancement in Quasi‐Periodic Metastructures Featuring Tailorable Strong‐Weak Network

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A quasi‐periodic Dart‐Kite (QDK) metastructure with a golden‐ratio‐constrained strong–weak bond network simultaneously enhances strength, toughness, and damage tolerance. Its distributed topology enables predictable, tailorable crack paths for precise fracture control and stable mechanics, demonstrating a high‐performance, controllable architecture ...

Characterization of Bach and Cotton Tensors on a Class of Lorentzian Manifolds

open access: yesMathematics
In this work, we aim to investigate the characteristics of the Bach and Cotton tensors on Lorentzian manifolds, particularly those admitting a semi-symmetric metric ω-connection.

Problematic aspects of Kaluza–Klein excitations in multidimensional models with Einstein internal spaces

open access: yesPhysics Letters B, 2014
We consider Kaluza–Klein (KK) models where internal spaces are compact Einstein spaces. These spaces are stabilized by background matter (e.g., monopole form-fields).

Engineering Na‐Rich P2‐Type Layered Oxides Through Li/Ti Dual Doping for Oxygen Redox Activation and Superior Structural Stability

open access: yesAdvanced Energy Materials, EarlyView.
P2‐type sodium layered oxides have potential for high‐voltage operation but suffer from structural instability and capacity fading. This work demonstrates that synergistic Li and Ti co‐doping enhances sodium inventory, suppresses detrimental phase transitions, and activates reversible lattice oxygen redox.

Internal symmetries in Kaluza-Klein models

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics
The usual approach to Kaluza-Klein considers a spacetime of the form M 4 × K and identifies the isometry group of g K 0 $$ {g}_K^0 $$ , the internal vacuum metric, with the gauge group in four dimensions.

THE EXISTENCE THEOREM FOR THE GENERAL RELATIVISTIC CAUCHY PROBLEM ON THE LIGHT-CONE

open access: yesForum of Mathematics, Sigma, 2014
We prove existence of solutions of the vacuum Einstein equations with initial data induced by a smooth metric on a light-cone.

Families of conic Kähler–Einstein metrics [PDF]

open access: yesMathematische Annalen, 2018
Let $p:X\to Y$ be an holomorphic surjective map between compact K hler manifolds and let $D$ be an effective divisor on $X$ with generically simple normal crossings support and coefficients in $(0,1)$. Provided that the adjoint canonical bundle $K_{X_y}+D_y$ of the generic fiber is ample, we show that the current obtained by glueing the fiberwise ...
