The fate of heavy elements in dwarf galaxies - the role of mass and geometry
Energetic feedback from Supernovae and stellar winds can drive galactic winds. Dwarf galaxies, due to their shallower potential wells, are assumed to be more vulnerable to this phenomenon.

Persistent secondary phases govern the performance of many thermoelectric materials, particularly of high performance MgAgSb. In this study advanced microstructural characterization for unequivocal phase identification combined with transport modeling and statistical analysis enabled the quantification of each phase's impact, revealing the most ...

This study demonstrates that pulsed potential electrolysis significantly improves CO2 reduction performance on copper‐nitrogen doped carbon electrodes. The formation of cationic copper sites and metallic clusters as a function of applied intermittent potential leads to notable selectivity changes compared to potentiostatic reduction.

Background Epicardial adipose tissue (EAT) accumulation is thought to play a role in the pathophysiology of heart failure (HF) with mid‐range ejection fraction and HF with preserved ejection fraction, but its effect on outcome is unknown.

The Relationship between Nocturnal Hypoxemia and Left Ventricular Ejection Fraction in Congestive Heart Failure Patients [PDF]
Background: sleep – disordered breathing ( SDB) is Frequently observed in Patients with Congestive heart Failure. This Study examines the Prevalence of sleep disorder in stable heart failure Patients regardless of ejection Fraction. Method: By Means of

Ionic Control of Microstructure and Lubrication in Charged, Physically Cross‐Linked Hydrogels
Here, charged, physically cross‐linked poly(methacrylamide‐co‐methacrylic acid) hydrogels stabilized by a short‐range attractive, long‐range repulsive potential is investigated. This work uncovers how salt addition alters not only swelling, but also the microstructure and dynamics, near‐surface stiffness and charge, and ultimately, its lubricity. Salts
