The effects of elastane yarn type and fabric density on sewing needle penetration forces and seam damage of PET/elastane woven fabrics

2007
This paper presents the effects of elastane yarn type and fabric density on the seam performance of PET/ elastane woven fabrics. In this study, 12 different weft stretched fabrics were woven with 2 different weft yarns, 2 different weave types and 3 different weft densities.

Modification of Ring Spinning Machine for Producing Core Yarn Containing Elastane

2013
In recent years, different types of yarns are produced by using flexible machines which is modernized with imported technology in our country. In this study, a modification of a conventional ring spinning is explained for producing core-spun yarns which contain elastane.

Effect of production parameters on strength and elongation of the selected yarns containing elastane [Elastan içerikli seçilmiş ipliklerde bazi üretim parametrelerinin iplik mukavemeti ve uzamasi üzerindeki etkisi]

2019
Nowadays, added value of conventional ring yarns has been decreased therefore importance of core-yarns has been increasing whether producers or consumers. Because of reflecting the positive side of the both component to the new yarn structure by composing two different component, in the future it is reported that these yarns can be used especially in ...

Influence of selected process variables on the mechanical properties of core-spun vortex yarns containing elastane

2006
In this experimental study, we investigated the effects of nozzle pressure, delivery speed and elastane content on the mechanical properties of core-spun yams produced using the Murata vortex spinning system. Our findings show that the nozzle pressure, delivery speed, elastane content as expressed by the linear density of elastane yarn and the ...
