Elastic and inelastic scattering of 15N ions by 6Li nuclei at energy 81 MeV
Angular distributions of the elastic and inelastic scattering of 15N ions by 6Li nuclei were measured at the energy Elab(15N) = 81 MeV. The data were analyzed within the coupled-reaction-channels method (CRC).

Elastic pp Scattering in AdS/CFT [PDF]
This work is geared towards studying pp collisions using the AdS/CFT correspondence. It is inspired by the work of Richard C. Brower, Joseph Polchinski, Matthew J. Strassler and Chung I Tan (arXiv:1204.0472v1) on particle interactions. A simple extension

Nucleus-nucleus potential with repulsive core and elastic scattering. Part 2. The elastic scattering cross sections with and without core [PDF]
Elastic scattering 16О + 12C at energies 132 and 169 MeV, 12C + 12C at energies 139.5 and 158.8 MeV and 16О + 16О at energies 124 and 145 MeV are analyzed in the framework of optical model with repulsive core nucleus-nucleus potential. Elastic scattering

Important role of three-body repulsive force effect in nuclear reactions
The effect of three-body force (TBF) is studied in nucleus-nucleus elastic scattering on the basis of Brueckner theory for nucleon-nucleon (NN) effective interaction (complex G matrix) in the nuclear matter. A new G matrix called CEG07 proposed recently

ABSTRACT Objective Facioscapulohumeral muscular dystrophy (FSHD) is one of the most debilitating and common muscular dystrophies. Despite its severity, no approved therapy exists for FSHD patients. However, several therapeutic candidates are currently under development, and some have recently entered clinical trials, marking the need for reliable ...

A Workflow to Accelerate Microstructure‐Sensitive Fatigue Life Predictions
This study introduces a workflow to accelerate predictions of microstructure‐sensitive fatigue life. Results from frameworks with varying levels of simplification are benchmarked against published reference results. The analysis reveals a trade‐off between accuracy and model complexity, offering researchers a practical guide for selecting the optimal ...
